This site is honors the memory of Petersburg High School in Pageland, South Carolina, and the students who grew up in its classrooms. We hope you enjoy this adventure as much as we did creating it.
Petersburg High School opened in 1954, introducing a full 12-year academic program to the community. Its history as a high school ended in 1968 when the upper grades were consolidated into Pageland High School for the 1968-69 school year. The facility has continued to serve the lower grades faithfully, as it does today as an elementary school.
